Nice article you have posted here. I found it through Press posts. Yes I agree with you that passage in John 14 (one of my fav chapters)  is symbolic of much greater things to come. Also I think this same relationship with Jesus our bridegroom and we his brides is brought out in the first communion when Jesus gave the cup of the new covenant of wine to his disciples in Mat 26:27, 28.</description>
